Graduating from WACO in 2012, Ashley always knew she wanted to have a job with animals. While attending Iowa State University she received a Bachelors in Animal Science, specializing in companion animals. In May of 2016, Ashley opened Ashley's Grooming.
At 10 years old Ashley received her very first puppy, a Labrador Retriever. With a love for the breed, Ashley started BCY Labradors in 2014 with the goal of raising healthy & happy black, chocolate & yellow Labradors.
In 2018 she started Ash Dachshunds. These long little doggies stole our hearts and became best friends with the labs.
With the growing demand and a need for Grooming and Boarding in SE Iowa.... it was decided to expand the facility to a new location/building. With this new venture, the business continues to grow and we are able to do what we love by taking care of your pets as if they were our own.
