THE FAIRFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT will be accepting applications for the position of firefighter until May 16, 2021. Applicants must reside within 5 miles of the city limits of Fairfield. Firefighter 1 and HazMat Ops are preferred and required within 1 year of employment with the city. Interested applicants may obtain an application on the city website, or pick up an application at City Hall at 118 S. Main Street or the Fairfield Fire Dept. at 104 N. 2ND Street.
