Washington Middle School serves approximately 425 students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Our students reside in Washington and Brighton. We also have students who open enroll from neighboring communities.
Washington Middle School students have a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs to choose from including: First Tech Challenge, Marching Band, Builder's Club, Honor Band, Honor Choir, Drama, Student Council, Peer Helpers, Football, Cross Country, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Dance Team, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Softball, Baseball and Archery. The athletic teams are all walk-on. There are no tryouts in order to be on those teams.
Washington Middle School staff is dedicated to providing instruction and curriculum to meet the needs of all of our learners. We believe that the support and involvement from home, community and school are what help our students achieve success. Our Middle School staff is dedicated to the development of their professional skills and to being lifetime learners. Our staff works daily at giving our students the knowledge, skills and resources to continue on their path of being productive, responsible, respectful community members and lifetime learners.
