The Lighthouse Center is a Christian community outreach center located at 604 S. Iowa Ave, Washington Iowa. The heart of this ministry is to develop community outreach in Washington Iowa, with the help of all the churches, working together to share the gospel message that Jesus Christ is Lord. We will achieve this goal of sharing the gospel, by meeting the needs of the community. We offer food, clothing, counseling, furniture, and emergency housing with transitional living. And we are open! The emergency housing will be available to people in need for up to 45 days unless they are waiting to go into a transitional living program. The facility will eventually be staffed 24/7 as long as there are clients. But for right now, Clients are welcome to come in at 4pm, Dinner is at 6pm. Doors are locked at 8pm and Clients have to leave for the day by 8am. Other community outreach, food clothing, counseling and furniture will be available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
