About

The Inn is a casually elegant historic main house with guest house. The main house is a stately old brick building, circa 1858, with original interior woodwork of butternut white walnut in grand style. It has three charming, comfortable rooms, all with private baths. The guest house is a 2-bedroom 1 bath apartment with modern decor, the second story of the carriage house, with bamboo flooring, large windows, and large deck overlooking lawn and gardens. It has a fully equipped kitchen. There is wireless internet access throughout the main and guest house, large-screen HDTV in the main house family room and also in the guest house living room. The Inn is surrounded by lawns and gardens with mature shade trees, featuring a 3-tiered Italian water fountain, fire pit, gazebo, and outdoor sitting areas. Directly across the street is historic Chautauqua Park, with a charming 1-mile paved path along Crow Creek, and an 18-hole disk golf course. The park connects to the wonderful Jefferson County Trail System with 17 miles of lime chip walking/biking trails encircling the entire town (the Fairfield Loop Trail). We welcome you and will do our best to provide a relaxing, healthy place to stay for your business, family, getaway or destination visit to historic Fairfield.
