Volume 35 Number 3 September 2019 Jefferson County Conservation Board Naturally Speaking 8th Grade Fieldtrip 2019 Friday, September 6th around 130 8th Grade students from Fairfield Middle School learned about Water Quality on their Fieldtrip. Sessions were all centered around water and were led by many area agencies including lowa State Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Bureau, and Jefferson County Conservation. Students tested water in three different areas, participated in team building activities, kayaked (pictured above), and played other water related games.
