lowa State University Extension & ONIVERSITY Outreach: Jefferson County Hiring Summer Youth Education Intern IOWA STATE Edern d Outreach lowa State University Extension & Outreach - Jefferson County is looking for an energetic and reliable summer youth education intern. This 40 hour per week, 12-week position provides organization and delivery of day camps and assists with other youth and adult programs and events. The camps will target elementary- aged youth, allowing them to engage in STEM-focused activities during the summer break, with an emphasis on gardening, cooking, health, and nutrition. Requirements are: high school diploma, previous experience working with youth, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, successfully pass the background screening, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. The position will remain open until filled, with applications received by April 10, 2022 given first priority.
