Extensicn and Outreach The candidate will support with virtual and in-person educational programming. In addition, this would include summer tasks to possibly include conducting day camps, county fair activities and garden experiences. The successful candidate will be professional, dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent teaching skills, have attention to detail and the ability to work with youth, community members and staff. Required qualifications include HS degree, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, ability to pass background check and to lift 35 pounds. This is a 900-hour position over 11 months. Service members earn an annual living allowance and receive a post-service education award to finance higher education or pay towards qualified student loans after they complete their hours. Additionally, AmeriCorps members may apply for education loan forbearance during their term of service. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and occasionally attend out-of-town trainings.
